H.E. Abdulla Salem AlDhaheri Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Indonesia and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste

H.E. Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri has served as the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Indonesia and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. He has built a distinguished and accomplished career spanning diplomatic assignments abroad, as well as senior leadership and executive roles across various sectors within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His Excellency began his professional career at Etisalat before assuming several leadership positions at ADNOC, including Director of Refined Products and Executive Director of the Marketing and Trading Directorate.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements, His Excellency was awarded the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award in the Outstanding Ambassador category in 2024. He also received the Oracle Medal for Industrial Excellence in 2012 and the ADNOC Personality Award in 2013 for excellence in health, safety, and environment.
His Excellency holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the United States.
