H.E. Saeed Saqr Al Mehairi
Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Istanbul
H.E. Saeed Saqr Al Mehairi serves as Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Istanbul since 2022. He brings extensive diplomatic experience acquired through years of service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and across the UAE's diplomatic missions.
He began his diplomatic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2010. Throughout his career, he has held a number of key positions, including roles within the Operations Department and the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Prior to his appointment as Consul General, he served as Head of the Consular Affairs and UAE Nationals Section at the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Istanbul, where he played a key role in strengthening consular services and supporting UAE nationals in the Republic of Türkiye.
