The Consulate General of the UAE in the Kurdistan Region organizes a virtual meeting to enhance the presence of Emirati brands
The Consulate General of the UAE in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq organized a virtual meeting remotely on investment, trade and increasing the chances of the presence of Emirati brands in the Iraqi market, with the participation of representatives of companies from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the UAE. The participants in the meeting discussed strengthening relations and opportunities for cooperation and entering into partnerships.
In his intervention at the meeting, His Excellency the Consul General of the UAE said that the Consulate General of the UAE in Erbil is working to organize meetings between companies and investors from the UAE, Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, with the aim of cooperation, strengthening relations and finding partnerships between the two parties. He stressed that the current meeting of companies is to find opportunities for cooperation between a company that runs a global fashion agency in the UAE with local Iraqi companies to cooperate with each other and enter the Iraqi market during the coming period.
His Excellency the Consul General of the UAE praised the investment law in the Kurdistan region of Iraq and the updates that were introduced to it, which increase the possibility of encouraging foreign companies and motivating them to come and work in the Kurdistan region. He stressed the importance of the presence of Emirati companies in various fields in the Iraqi market and the promotion of the brands they manage through distributors in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as it will benefit the various parties.
Representatives of the companies that attended the virtual meeting gave their observations on cooperation and partnerships.
