A delegation of the Council of Muslim Elders visits the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
The delegation of the Council of Muslim Elders, in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Consul General of the UAE, met His Excellency Pashtiwan Sadiq, Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs, during which they emphasized the depth of relations and prospects for their development, the promotion of common issues such as issues of diversity, and support for spreading the concepts of tolerance and ethnic pluralism.
During the meeting, which was attended by His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Wesi, President of the Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kurdistan, the Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Region welcomed the delegation of the General Secretariat of the Council of Muslim Elders, praising the role played by the Council in promoting human coexistence, spreading the values of dialogue and correcting misconceptions.
For his part, Counselor Muhammad Abd al-Salam, Secretary-General of the Council of Muslim Elders, praised the experience of the Kurdistan Region in promoting coexistence, noting that the Kurdistan Region represents a role model in upholding the values of human brotherhood, expressing the appreciation of the Council of Muslim Elders for the humanitarian role played by the government and people.
