A dialogue table on tolerance on the International Day of Human Fraternity, sponsored by the UAE Consulate in the Kurdistan Region
In presenting the dialogue symposium, His Excellency the Consul General of the UAE referred to the inspiring and rich Emirati experience in this field, both at the official and popular levels, with regard to issues of tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood. He pointed to the diversity that exists in Emirati society, and to tolerance and the Emirati experience that has become an inspiration to countries. The world in this field, which represents the thought of the country’s leadership and the commitment of the Emirati people regardless of their affiliations.
In turn, His Excellency Salah Ali, Advisor to the Ministry of Endowments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and Chairman of the Table, praised the role of the United Arab Emirates in spreading tolerance, coexistence and brotherhood in the region, translated into the signing of the Human Fraternity Document. The UAE is reaping the benefits of this trend by emphasizing the importance of living in brotherhood, which requires coexistence. He stressed the necessity of rebuilding the tolerance and coexistence that was affected in Iraq as a result of events that took place in the country, leading to coexistence, where it is not possible to separate the components that have lived together for thousands of years.
The advisor to the Ministry of Endowments praised the role of the United Arab Emirates in spreading the principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. Emphasizing that the great efforts made by the State Mission in Erbil to direct the aid provided by Emirati charitable institutions to the displaced and the needy, especially in times of distress, left a clear impact at all levels.
