President of Serbia Receives the Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council

H.E. Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia, received H.E. Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, and the accompanying delegation during their official visit to the Republic of Serbia.

On this occasion, H.E. Saqr Ghobash conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

He also conveyed their wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Republic of Serbia and its friendly people.

President Vucic reciprocated the greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, extending his best wishes for the continued prosperity and well-being of the United Arab Emirates, its government, and its people.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Vucic welcomed H.E. Ghobash and the members of the delegation, expressing his appreciation for the close relations between the two friendly countries, which continue to grow and develop across a wide range of fields.

President Vucic emphasized that, relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Serbia represent a successful example of constructive cooperation based on mutual trust, respect, and shared interests. He also reaffirmed Serbia’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation with the UAE in the political, economic, cultural, and scientific spheres.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Ahmed Hatem Barghash Almenhali, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Serbia, as well as members of the Federal National Council: Saeed Rashid Al Abdi, Hamid Ahmed Al Tayer, Khalid Omar Al Huraiji, Sheikha Saeed Al Kaabi, Aisha Ibrahim Al Marri, and Hilal Mohammed Al Kaabi. Dr. Omar Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Federal National Council, was also present.
