UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Meets with Serbia’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management

H.E. Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, led an agricultural delegation to Serbia where met with H.E. Dragan Glamocic, Serbia’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, in the presence of H.E. Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Serbia.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance comprehensive cooperation in the agricultural sector and to strengthen partnership through the launch of new projects serving the interests of both countries.

Minister Al Dahak emphasized that water resource management, digital transformation, and the application of artificial intelligence are key elements for the future of modern agriculture and the achievement of sustainable development.

Minister Glamocic highlighted that relations between the two countries have reached the highest political and economic level, noting that the UAE is today one of Serbia’s most important strategic partners outside Europe.

Both sides also underscored that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Serbia and the Emirates has opened a new phase of cooperation, creating conditions for increased investment, joint project implementation, and the expansion of Serbian agricultural and food exports to the UAE market.
