His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Khater Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Colombia, met with His Excellency Efraín Cepeda Sarabia, President of the Senate of Colombia, to discuss various topics of mutual interests as part of the deep-rooted bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
The two sides explored ways of strengthening cooperation between the UAE and Colombia including political, economic, and developmental fields.
During the meeting, H.E. Al Shamsi reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to enhancing its partnership with Colombia to serve both countries’ mutual interests and consolidate friendship ties between the two nations.
For his part, H.E. Sarabia commended the UAE’s leading role at both regional and global levels, highlighting Colombia’s commitment to reinforcing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries to support joint initiatives and exchange expertise.
