The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Bulgaria enjoy steadily growing bilateral relations, underpinned by cooperation across trade, economic, and other key sectors. These ties witnessed a significant milestone in April 2005 with the establishment of the Trade and Economic Affairs Office at the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Dubai. The partnership continued to advance with the signing of a Strategic Cooperation Agreement on the sidelines of the visit of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev to the UAE in September 2022, further strengthening bilateral ties and opening broader avenues for cooperation across a wide range of fields.
