H.E. President Marcos and top Philippine Officials thank UAE for assistance to ‘Mayon Volcano’ victims

His Excellency Ferdinand Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, and Their Excellencies, Philippine Cabinet Secretaries, thanked the United Arab Emirates –in different occasions- for its unwavering support for the Philippines and its timely assistance for the families affected by the unrest of Mayon Volcano in Albay province.

President told H.E. Mohamed Obaid Alqataam Alzaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Philippines, who paid a courtesy visit to him on Tuesday at the Malacañan Palace.
On Wednesday, President Marcos thanked the UAE Leadership once again, writing in a Social Media post: “We thank the UAE government for their timely support to the victims of the Mayon Volcano's unrest”.
For his part, H.E. Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government, said: “We are most especially grateful to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (President of the UAE)… This is something we will not forget. Thank you very much, UAE.”
