H.E. Mohamed Obaid Alqataam Alzaabi, UAE Ambassador in Manila, attended the first Waste and Water (W2) Summit, co-organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and attended by more than 300 local government officials and representatives from the academe, NGOs, the private sector, and other development partners.
On the Sidelines of the summit, H.E. the Ambassador discussed with H.E. Benhur Abalos, Secretary of DILG, and H.E. Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga, Secretary of DENR, prospects for further cooperation between the UAE and the Philippines in the fields of water management and other sustainable development fields.
