UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Visits the “Mohamed bin Zayed Nature Reserve”

H.E. Fahad Mohammed bin Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain, accompanied by a number of Embassy staff, visited the “Mohamed bin Zayed Nature Reserve”, where they were received by H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

H.E. Dr. bin Daina welcomed the delegation and affirmed that the decision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to name the Al Areen Wildlife Park and Reserve after H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him”, reflects the depth of the fraternal and historic relations between the two brotherly countries and the continuous development and cooperation between them across various fields, particularly in the environmental sector.

H.E. Ambassador Al Ameri expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, affirming that naming the reserve after H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him”, embodies the depth of the longstanding fraternal relations between the leaderships of the two brotherly countries and reflects their shared commitment to preserving the natural heritage and protecting wildlife in the region.

His Excellency highlighted the significance of the Mohamed bin Zayed Nature Reserve as an important environmental landmark in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a leading model in biodiversity conservation, commending the Kingdom’s efforts and pivotal role in this field. He also stressed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in a manner that contributes to further promoting the principles of environmental sustainability.

The “Mohamed bin Zayed Nature Reserve” is considered one of the most prominent nature reserves in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It plays an important role in protecting wildlife, in addition to its awareness-raising and research functions.
