Mr. Rashid Juma Abdulla Al Shamsi Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Zimbabwe

Mr. Rashid Juma Abdulla Al Shamsi assumed his duties as Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Zimbabwe in May 2026. He has extensive diplomatic and professional experience, having held a number of diplomatic and administrative positions throughout his career.

Mr. Al Shamsi joined the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015. In 2019, he served as Chargé d’Affaires at the UAE Embassy in the Republic of Djibouti. In December 2021, he joined the UAE Embassy in Harare, where he contributed to strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various fields, particularly economic, investment, development, and cultural cooperation.

Mr. Al Shamsi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from United Arab Emirates University, awarded in 2008.
