His Excellency the Consul General of the State in Erbil met with the headquarters of the Altunsa Group in Dohuk Governorate, which is one of the leading economic groups in the region, during which he inspected the group’s factories and reviewed the group’s plans and opportunities for cooperation with Emirati companies.

During the visit, the Consul General of the State received His Excellency Nechirvan Lazgin, Chairman of the Group, and members of the administration.

During the meeting, the distinguished relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Kurdistan Region and the mechanisms for developing them were discussed, and the interest of Emirati companies in working in the region, especially in the field of food security and the need to increase exports of agricultural products And promoting food. investment projects.

His Excellency the Consul General of the State, accompanied by the Chairman of the Group and a number of its officials, inspected the factories belonging to the Group, especially in the food and consumer industries, and listened to an explanation from them about the production capacity of each factory and its role in encouraging other sectors. 

Al-Tunsa Group officials expressed their desire to cooperate with Emirati companies and provide opportunities to export the products of the group’s factories to the Emirati market.
