His Excellency Ahmed Hatem Barghash Almenhali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Serbia

His Excellency Ahmed Hatem Bargash Almenhali serves as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Serbia. His Excellency has enjoyed a distinguished professional career spanning several decades, encompassing positions at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as diplomatic and consular missions of the United Arab Emirates abroad. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in various fields of diplomatic and consular work.

His professional career started at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, where he served from 1996 to 1998. He subsequently served as General Supervisor of the Office of Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan within the Department of International Organizations.

He then served at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Kingdom of Thailand from 1999 to 2002, where he gained valuable experience in diplomatic work abroad. From 2003 to 2007, he served at the Consulate of the United Arab Emirates in Munich, followed by an assignment at the Consulate of the United Arab Emirates in London from 2007 to 2010.

From 2010 to 2013, he served at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Subsequently, in 2014 and 2015, he was assigned to serve at several Consulates of the United Arab Emirates, including diplomatic and consular missions in Brazil and Argentina.

From 2015 to 2016, he served as Consul General at the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Houston.

From 2016 to 2024, he served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the United Mexican States, with non-resident accreditation to the Republic of El Salvador, the Republic of Guatemala, and Belize.

His Excellency Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from California Baptist University in the United States.
