Bilateral Meetings of High-Level Officials of the Republic of Serbia and the United Arab Emirates

On the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai, a series of bilateral meetings between high-level officials of the Republic of Serbia and the United Arab Emirates was held, contributing to the further strengthening of the bilateral partnership between the two friendly countries.

H.E. Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State and General Secretary of the UAE Cabinet, held a meeting with H.E. Snezana Paunovic, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republic of Serbia. During the discussion, opportunities to enhance cooperation in the modernization of public administration and the digitalization of services were explored.

H.E. Sana bint Suhail, UAE Minister of Family, met with H.E. Tatjana Macura, Minister without Portfolio in the Government of Serbia responsible for gender equality. The two sides exchanged experiences in the field of protecting women’s rights and their empowerment in society.

H.E. Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, Minister of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia, held talks with H.E. Mohamed Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, as well as with senior representatives of ADNOC, on opportunities for joint cooperation. The Serbian minister also participated in the ministerial roundtable of the Global Alliance for Energy Efficiency, chaired by H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade.

The meetings were also attended by H.E. Ahmed Almenhali, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Serbia. These meetings and bilateral discussions reaffirmed the readiness of both countries to further enhance their cooperation and support a comprehensive strategic partnership across various fields.
