Embassy of the UAE in Belgrade Hosts Iftar Dinner

At the initiative of H.E. Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, Ambassador of the UAE in Belgrade, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Belgrade hosted an iftar dinner at the St. Regis Hotel in Belgrade on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The guest of honor at the dinner was H.E. Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia.

The evening was attended by numerous ministers, ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries accredited to Serbia, as well as the Mufti of the Islamic Community in Novi Pazar, along with many distinguished figures. The gathering took place in a friendly and cordial atmosphere, reflecting a spirit of closeness and mutual respect, bringing together representatives of Arab and Islamic countries in a unique Ramadan setting.

During the iftar, the President of Serbia expressed his gratitude for the kind invitation and emphasized that it was an honor to attend the iftar organized by the friendly Embassy of the UAE in Serbia. He noted that the Ramadan iftar symbolizes the values of solidarity and human connection, reflecting a spirit of unity and mutual support, as friends gather around the same table after fasting, sharing messages of gratitude, solidarity, and care for others.

Ambassador Almenhali addressed the attendees, welcoming the President and distinguished guests and expressing his pleasure at their gathering on this blessed occasion. He highlighted the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Serbia, emphasizing that these relations are characterized by fruitful cooperation and continuous coordination across various fields, reflecting the commitment of both sides to strengthening their strategic partnership and developing cooperation in the interest of the two friendly nations.
