- Kazakhstan and UAE are interested in strengthening and expanding trade and economic relations and investment cooperation.
- The basis of legal and contractual relations in the economic sphere between Kazakhstan and UAE is the Agreement on the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investments, by which long-term stability for investors is ensured. According to National Bank of Kazakhstan total volume of attracted investments from the UAE to the economy of Kazakhstan is $2.3 billion, while investments from Kazakhstan in the UAE economy exceeded $1 billion.
- The Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation remains an important mechanism of economic cooperation. According to Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan there are more than 250 UAE companies including joint ventures registered in Kazakhstan.
- Most of them are engaged in construction, mining, logistics and trade. It is noteworthy that UAE investors are considering investing in full-cycle production projects with high added value.
