The UAE embassy in the Republic of Ethiopia celebrates the 48th National Day: and Social Affairs:
His Excellency Mohamed Salem Al-Rashdi, the UAE ambassador to the Republic of Ethiopia and members of the embassy, held a reception at "Hyatt Regency" hotel in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, on Monday evening, December 2, 2019, to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the founding of the UAE, where he delivered a speech in which he mentioned the achievements made by the United Arab Emirates throughout the years, under the wise leadership.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Ethiopian government, led by Her Excellency Ergogi Tesfaye, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, His Excellency Masqano Arqa, State Minister for Trade and Industry, and the guest of honor of the ceremony, Ambassador Winch Tadesse, Permanent Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Africa and the Middle East.
The ceremony was also attended by ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries accredited to the Republic of Ethiopia, representatives of international and regional organizations based in the Ethiopian capital, and leaders of religious communities, Muslim and Christian, and a crowd of financial and business community, and correspondents of various local and foreign media.
Also participating in the ceremony were Emirates Airlines, fly Dubai Airlines and the regional office of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where they presented the raffle prizes that took place during the ceremony.
The ceremony included cinematic performances of features of the Emirati heritage, and the UAE progress and prosperity, in an eloquent expression of the approach the United Arab Emirates is taking in its unique blend of originality and contemporary
