The UAE Embassy in Santiago celebrated the Emirati Women's Day, with the participation of Her Excellency Jacqueline Peillard - President of International Relations in the Chilean Chamber of Deputies, Ms. Eileen Palma - Deputy Mayor of Lampa, and a number of artists and businesswomen form different sectors that include Arabian horses, equestrian and calligraphy.
During the ceremony, the UAE Ambassador, H.E. Abdelrazaq Hadi, highlighted the role of Emirati women in various fields, being the source of pride and appreciation as a mother, sister and daughter of the nation's martyrs, following the path of Zayed - the Founding Father, of empowering the society through women.
He also highlighted the role of the Mother of the Nation, who made the greatest achievements in empowering Emirati women to become a symbol of tolerance, and who will proudly represent 50% of the upcoming Federal National Council.
The UAE Embassy in Santiago also honored a group of women from various governmental and societal sectors who have always participated in the Embassy's activities in the field of women's empowerment in Chile.
