The Sheikh Zayed orphanage center was established in Kandahar province of Islamic republic of Afghanistan in 2000 and construction work accomplished in 2003 . The project has been funded by (Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktum charity organization).
The orphanage center includes 29 class rooms from the first grade up to 12th. and the number of students living of the center reaches 1093 students, since the beginning of the project until now, the teaching process is carried out without interruption.
