Mr. Alzaabi assumed his charges as Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary in Pakistan on 19th September 2017. He was previously “Director of the International Organization Department” and he was promoted to the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary (Exceptional Promotion).
He has started his career at Diplomatic & Consular Corp as Attaché in 2004 and he was posted to International Organization and Conferences Department. In 2006 he transferred to the Permanent Mission in the United Nation in New York United States of America.
He got promoted in 2006 to the rank of 3rd Secretary. He got an exceptional promotion to the rank of 1st Secretary in 2010. Mr. Alzaabi joined the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Paris as 1st Secretary in 2011. He served from 2015-2017 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H.Q. in Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Alzaabi has attended several International Conferences and meetings at Gulf Arab and International Levels. He was awarded an “UAE MEDAL OF PRIDE” in 2019, and promoted to the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary First Class in January, 2024.
Mr. Alzaabi has done his Bachelor of Political Sciences from Emirates University in 2004. He has done his Master’s degree in Administrative Sciences in Diplomacy and International Affairs in 2011 from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a GPA of 3.9. He is married to Mrs. Maitha Majied Hilal Alsuwaidi.
