His Excellency Sultan Mohammed Majid Al Ali, UAE Ambassador to Romania, met with His Excellency Dr. Virgil-Daniel Popescu, Romanian Minister of Energy, and reviewed priority projects for the two countries and ways to enhance bilateral relations following the second UAE-Romania Joint Committee meeting held in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, which was also attended by His Excellency Ahmed Al Awadi, Director of Business Development & Investment, Clean Energy at Masdar, both sides underscored their interest in developing cooperation by identifying economic opportunities and joint cooperation projects in the field of renewable energy.
For his part, His Excellency Popescu affirmed the readiness of the Romanian Ministry of Energy to provide all forms of support to strengthen UAE-Romania relations.
In turn, His Excellency Al Ali underscored the UAE's aspiration to increase cooperation with Romania in various fields and elevate relations between the two countries.
