- His Excellency Muhannad Sulaiman Al Naqbi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Shanghai, joined the diplomatic foreign service in 2010.
- He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Sharjah in 2006.
- He was appointed as the Consul General of the UAE in Shanghai from September 2021 till present; appointed Head of the Protocol and Hospitality Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from July 2013 to January 2015, appointed to the UAE Consulate General in Milano from February 2015 to December 2015 to strengthen the support of the UAE Consulate General in Milano of during Expo Milano 2015.
- then appointed to the UAE Embassy in Rome from February 2016 to August 2021, during his tenure at the UAE embassy in Rome, the embassy won first place for two consecutive years at the level of Missions.
- In addition, He also participated in many international conferences and meetings that contributed to strengthening the UAE's foreign relations to serve the interests of the UAE and achieve the leadership's directions and the state's vision.
