- In the context of the exceptional bilateral relationship between the UAE and Chile, both countries carried out high-level visits, among them stands out that of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, H.H. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who went to Santiago in April 2014, when he met with the President of the Republic, Michelle Bachelet.
- Also, the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to Santiago in March of 2019, where His Highness held a series of important meetings with Ministers and other authorities in the Chilean Government.
- The Emirates has received an official visit from two Chilean Foreign Ministers: Minister Mariano Fernández (2009) and Minister Teodoro Ribera (in January 2020).
