Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Costa Rica

- In total 20 years of experience as a diplomat in the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation.
- She served as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of United Arab Emirates in the UK from 2016-2022.
- She formerly served as the Director of American Affairs
- department at the Ministry, being responsible for the bilateral relations between the UAE and the Americas.
- She has also served in the Directorate of Energy and Climate Change.
- She joined the UAE task force for the IRENA campaign, which ended successfully with the UAE hosting the agency.
- She was one of the UAE spoke persons on energy, climate change issues and sustainability.
- Rawdha graduated from UAE University with a bachelor’s degree with Honours in Political Affairs, and a master’s degree in public diplomacy with Honours.
- She was the recipient of the Professional Award from His Highness Sheikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in 2011 for her work on the IRENA bid, as well as the recipient of the Special Leadership Award in 2011.
- Her areas of interest and expertise are economy, public diplomacy, and climate change.
- She is a native Arabic speaker, fluent in English, and currently learning Spanish.
- In her free time, she enjoys ice skating, hiking, and reading.
