- The Consular Section of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Norway is responsible for the authentication of certificates, documents, commercial documents and other documentation services issued by the Kingdom of Norway, which will be used in the United Arab Emirates.
- Norwegian citizens are granted a 90-day free visit visa from the date of arrival to the United Arab Emirates.
- The passport will be stamped with the visit visa by the Immigration Section at any airport in the United Arab Emirates.
- Important note: The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Kingdom of Norway does not issue any kind of visas for the time being.
- Holders of temporary Norwegian passport and emergency passports are not eligible to travel to the UAE.
- Passport validity period shall not be less than six months.
- Duration of stay for EU citizens in the UAE must not exceed 90 days within 180 days, starting from the date of first entry into the Country.

- General Information for Emirati citizens: Citizens of the United Arab Emirates who visit the Kingdom of Norway do not need visas, as visas are obtained from the airport and other ports in the Kingdom of Norway, and are valid for 90 days. The residence of UAE nationals in the Kingdom of Norway must not exceed 90 days within 180 days, starting from the date of first entry.
