CONSULATE GENERAL OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – Jeddah

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates was opened in 1974, when Jeddah was the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the late, God willing, His Excellency / Ahmed Muhammad Burhaima was the first ambassador of the UAE to Saudi Arabia, and in 1985 the capital moved from Jeddah to the city of Riyadh as the capital.
And the UAE embassy moved to Riyadh, and a general consulate was opened in Jeddah and in the same location as the embassy, and His Excellency Mohammed Musabeh Al Suwaidi was appointed as the first Ambassador of the State in Jeddah from 1985 to 1991, where he was transferred to another position to take over the position of the country’s ambassador to Italy.
He was replaced by His Excellency Hassan Salem Al-Khayal from 1993 to 2002, when he was transferred and appointed as the country's ambassador to Kuwait in 2002.
His Excellency / Mohammed Ali Omran Al Shamsi was appointed Ambassador of the State in Jeddah from 2003 to 2009, when he was transferred and appointed as the State's Consul General to Thailand.
His Excellency Ahmed Mohamed Manqoush was appointed Ambassador in Jeddah from 2009 to 2015 2015
His Excellency / Arif Ali Al-Tabour Al-Nuaimi was appointed Ambassador in Jeddah from 2016 to 2019
His Excellency / Nasser Bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi was appointed Ambassador in Jeddah from March 2019 till now
