For diplomats and VIPs, they can apply to the Consulate General to request a visitor visa for the United Arab Emirates
The required documents:
- A letter from the sponsor + a clear, colored and readable copy of the sponsor’s ID.
- Guardian approval letter (father) for under 18 years old + a clear, color and readable copy of the guardian’s ID.
- A clear, colored and readable A4 size copy of the passport + the outer cover of the passport + passport extensions + the last entry and exit stamp from the UAE (in the event that entry and exit were made with a previous passport, please visualize it) and if a copy of the stamp is not available, please write the date of the last entry and exit From the UAE and from any port in the visa application form
- For the Afghan and Mauritanian nationalities, a certificate of matching names must be presented, indicating the name in the new passport and its data, the name in the old passport and its data, issued by the embassy or general consulate of their country, in addition to a clear, color, and readable A4 size copy of the electronic identity card and the population registry for Afghan nationality.
- A clear, color, readable copy of the residence permit.
- Two (2) recent colored personal photos, not one taken from the passport.
(For males, please do not cover the head in the photo).
- Fill out the visa application form in a clear and complete manner.
- Writing the address within the UAE, the landline number and the PO Box in the visa application form.
- In the event that a diplomat is transferred to work in his country’s embassy or consulate in the UAE, a note from the concerned Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a note from the embassy of the concerned country (the visa requester) must be attached, in which the name of the sponsor is mentioned.
