- The UAE is among the top 5 investors in the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan, during the period 1995-2015. The agreement on the economic, trade and technical cooperation between the Governments of the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed in November, 2006.
- Here it should be underlined the activity of Azerbaijan's trade representative in the United Arab Emirates since 2017, which stresses the importance Azerbaijan attaches to the UAE's role in the Region.
- Note that Azerbaijan’s Trade House opened in Dubai on January 15, 2019 the activity of Baku office of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also remarkable in developing the economic relations between the UAE and Azerbaijan.
- During May, 2016 the food import mission was supported and organized by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to Baku, Azerbaijan along with Dubai Chamber Baku office. For its active support the Embassy received a certificate of appreciation by Dubai Exports after their trade mission to Baku in October, 2016.
- On Jan 9, 2020 UAE Masdar Company became the partner with Azerbaijan to design, finance, build and operate a 200MW solar project in Azerbaijan, which indicates to the continuous progress of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
- Seven sessions of the Intergovernmental Commission in Economy, Trade and Technical Cooperation have already been held between our Governments. - According to the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 343 companies of the United Arab Emirates operate in Azerbaijan in the fields of industry, construction, trade, agriculture, communication, transport and services.
- Also, so far, the United Arab Emirates has invested $ 2.2 billion to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan has invested $ 347 million to the economy of the United Arab Emirates.
